March 30, 2015

We would like to thank Pat Fitzsimons from The Faltering Fullback pub in Finsbury for sponsoring our new kit. Pat has been a loyal supporter of Eire Og for several years and his generosity ensures that both our teams are kitted out on match days. The Fullback has become our clubhouse for team building and post-game socialising.

We hosted a double header last Saturday with the junior team playing Crawley and Brighton Gaels in the second round of the McArdle cup. We won the game 2-10 to 1-2. Stand out performers on the day where John Bradley with nine points, Eoin Conway and Nigel Drew.

The London Irish Centre (LIC) is the heart of the Irish community in London. Eire Og was founded in partnership with the LIC. Our first ever kit was sponsored by the London Irish Centre, we are proud to say we are associated with the LIC and look forward to continuing our partnership for many years to come.

The LIC is both a Registered Charity and an Irish community centre in Camden Square, London NW1.

For sixty years, The LIC has been both supporting Irish people in London and promoting Irish arts and culture.

The LIC welfare service is the largest for Irish people outside of Ireland. Each year we work with thousands of people to improve their housing, income, access to health, and social inclusion opportunities. This service works to meet the diverse needs of the large Irish community in London.
