Match Report v St Clarets

Last Sunday we played St Clarets in a league game in Greenford.

The game got under way with us having the advantage of the wind at our backs. Some good play from Sean Allen and Paul Mulholland who made his debut in at full forward ensured we open up a lead, we where playing some of the best football we had seen all year and where in control of the game until a well worked move from Clarets seen them burst through on goal and slot the ball into the net.

We went in at half time with a four point lead in our favour.

Clarets came out fired up in the second half and got themselves back into the game with another goal.

The game was nip and tuck with 15 minutes to go we took our foot off the gas and Clarets took advantage of this and opened up a comfortable lead.

It was clear to see that our fitness levels are not where they should be.

Fulltime score Eire Og 1-14 v 3-15  St Clarets
