We travelled to Cambridge last Saturday to take on Cambridge Parnells. Stand out performers on the where Paul Rattigan, Naul Mullen and Brian Digney. This was our final preseason game before we play Dulwich Harps this Sunday at 1pm in Downhills Park, N17 6AP. We wish Eoin Conway a speedy recovery from the injury he picked up.
New players are always very welcome to join our friendly club. We are based in North London and have our own pitch and top class changing facilities. The club covers a wide area including, our catchment area for players include; North, East and Central London, the city of London and Westminster, boroughs of Islington, Camden, Haringey, Kilburn, Hackney, along with many other areas. Training this week will take place under the floodlights in Downhills Park on Monday and Wednesday at 7:45pm this week due to St Patrick’s Day tomorrow.
This Sunday is a big day for the club when we welcome Dulwich Harps, Shalloe Pearse and Crawley & Brighton Gales to Downhill’s Park for our first ever competitive fixtures. Eire Og v Dulwich Harps will throw in at 1pm and Crawley take on Shalloe at 2:30pm.
It was great to see our partners the London Irish Centre taking part in the parade yesterday. Well done David, Cormac and Aoife!
