After the game we will be going to watch the rugby in the Park Tavern and then onto the Faltering Fullback.

This weeks player interview is with Damian Shannon.
- If you could take a sportsman from another sport and turn him into a footballer, who would you take?
Anthony Joshua, he would make a tight full forward and would be a good man to have on a wet day in Goodmayes when Paddy R starts another row.
- Who was your toughest underage opponent in Fermanagh?
Toughest team was probably Derrygonnelly, always tight games with no love lost. Its just great to have one of those Derrygonnelly guys in the Eire Og squad now in Shaggy. Direct opponent was probably Ciaran O’Reilly from Teemore, intelligent footballer with great skills and two good feet,
- Who was your sporting idol growing up?
Coming from a great Gaelic Football county like Fermanagh its hard to choose, but one that did stand out was a fellow Enniskillen Gaels clubman Paul Brewster. No doubting he was a great player but it was his dedication, leadership, drive and presence on and off the field that really stood out.
- Do you possess any sentimental GAA items?
A player of the year award from my time playing for Tir Chonail Harps in Glasgow, the Donagh Hickey award was in memory of my good friend who passed away in the middle of our Championship winning season in 2012. A great man that won’t be forgotten.
- Who is greatest ever sportsman in your opinion?
Brian O’Driscoll has to be up there in my lifetime, to play so consistently at the top level for the length he has with such individual brilliance but to remain the ultimate team player putting everything on the line every time surely must make him one of the greatest.
- What’s the best sports book that you’ve ever read?
Barca: The making of the greatest team in the world, written by Graham Hunter. Great insight into the Barca team and club, fascinating to hear more about what makes men like Guardialo and Messi tick. Certainly see similarities in the new gaffer John T and Guardialo, he has already identified Shaggy as our very own Messi!!!!
