The 2020 season is underway at last due to the recent lifting of restrictions on full contact training and games. The Éire Óg intermediate football team returned to the fold on Saturday 5th September at Downhills Park with a challenge games against Thomas McCurtains. With Downhills fully lined and in excellent condition, a competitive game ended all square, Éire Óg 0-11 – Thomas McCurtains 1-8.
We continue in Downhills at 3pm this coming Sunday (13th September) where we face Parnells in the Intermediate Football Cup. A shortened and intense 10 week season lies ahead for everyone in London GAA. It’s great to be back!
