Golf Classic

The annual Golf Classic took place on Saturday June 22nd in a sun baked Trent Park Golf Club. There were a total of 8 teams participating this year in what was a hugely successful & enjoyable occasion for all involved.

Well done to our award winners on the day – Overall Team Winners – Damian Shannon, Ronan Campfield, Stephen O’Keefe & Conor ‘Singer’ Kearney. Longest Drive – Daragh Cotter, Nearest The Pin – Harry Murray & Longest Putt – Steven Perry.

The victorious team – Damian Shannon, Stephen O’Keefe, Ronan Campfield & Conor Singer

The acceptance speech of the winning team, led by Belfast’s finest Conor Kearney will live long in the memory. If he can train his body in the same way he does his vocal cords, then he’s sure to have a very fruitful season!

A huge thank you to all our sponsors, not least the Faltering Full Back, who also provided the setting for the post golf social & a prize giving of the new Faltering Full Back sponsored club jerseys. Also thanks to our  participants on the day & finally a huge well done to the Organising Committee in particular Nigel Drew & Mick Savage.

A jubilant Club Chairman Mick Savage & Mr. Full Back Pat Fitz
